Un sábado más, ¡aquí tenéis otra entrevista!

Conozco a Sara porque fue ella la que impartió el curso de Tartas Fondant I al que asistí hace un tiempo y del que quedé tan encantada. Sara hace cosas geniales con fondant, y podríamos llamarla artista. No os perdáis la entrevista y por supuesto, ¡su blog!

-¿Por qué empezaste a escribir el blog? Explícanos cuáles son los blogs que te inspiran.
Fue un día buscando recetas nuevas, vi que no eran páginas normales, sino que era gente que desde su casa quería compratir lo que sabía con todo el mundo, y me llamó mucho la atención... y yo no quería ser menos, claro.. jejejeje...
Los blogs que me inspiraban al principio de todo no son los mismos que ahora... pero no he dejado de seguirlos... como el de Morgana, El Blog de Megasilvita, El Rincón de Bea, Muy dulce Vinuesa.... ¡¡¡y por supuesto desde que te conocí el tuyo!!!

-¿Por qué llamaste así a tu blog? Cuéntanos en pocas palabras de que trata.
Bueno... mi blog trata de mí, de como soy yo... y de todo lo que se... enseñároslo, ¿¿por que para qué sirve quedarse para ti mismo lo que sabes?? a mí realmente lo que me llena es poder mostrar y enseñar a la gente lo que he aprendido, y según voy aprendiendo voy enseñando... De ahí viene que empezara con los cursos.
Bueno mi pseudónimo viene de imaginación para plasmar todo lo que puedo en azúcar... y quien me conoce sabe de lo que hablo... intento llevar mi imaginación al fondant y de empezar siendo un hobbie a llegado a ser mi actual trabajo. Y es por eso que digo que yo ya no trabajo y espero no trabajar nunca más... porque esto es realmente lo que me llena... mi pasión, y no un trabajo.

-¿Qué libros de recetas tienes y cuál nos recomiendas sin dudarlo?
Uff!!! libros... un montón... pero uno de los que me quedo es el de cupcakes de Marcela Capó y uno que sin duda recomiendo es La Biblia de los pasteles.

Para mi tener tantos libros buenos son como mi gran enciclopedia, donde consultas cosas cada vez que dudas o cuando algo no lo sabes... y además de ser mis libros de cabecera... y literalmente, porque los tengo justo al lado de la cama y que no tengo sueño... pues me alcanzo alguno y ale!! a imaginar que puedo hacer en el próximo curso o de ahí sacar alguna receta nueva...

-¿Qué prefieres cocinar, dulce o salado? ¿Por qué motivo?
Bueno.... creo que en mi caso está muuuyyyy claro... jejejeje... DULCE!! Me encanta... además soy muy golosa y sobre todo el chocolate is my drug...

-¿Tienes tu receta favorita publicada en tu blog? ¿Nos dices cuál es el link para que la podamos probar?

- Para terminar, ¿qué consejo le darías a alguien que quiere empezar a escribir un blog pero no acaba por decidirse?
Escribir un blog es tener mucha dedicación, tiempo, y ser constante, si es que quieres que la gente te acabe conociendo. Pero también es una terapia, por lo menos a mi me sirve... y ver como te leen, te siguen y te dejan comentarios en tus entradas es muy, muy gratificante.

-Why did you start writing the blog? Tell us which blogs inspire you.
It was a day I was looking for recipes at Internet when I saw many websites from people at their home sharing their knowledge with the entire world and I got shocked with that and wanted to begin my own blog... he he he...
The blogs that inspire me are not the same since the beginning of all this stuff but I still follow them like the one of Morgana, El Blog de Megasilvita, El Rincón de Bea, Muy dulce Vinuesa...and of course yours since I know you!!!

-Why did you call your blog this way? Tell us briefly what it talks about.
Well... my blog talks about myself, about how I am and about showing you everything I know, why should I keep my knowledge? What I really love is to show and to teach the people everything I have learned and as I'm learning, I'm teaching. That's the reason I started doing courses.
The name of the blog comes from the imagination you need to make everything with sugar and who knows me knows what I'm talking about. I try to put all my imagination in fondant and what began being a hobby now is my job. That's why I said that I don't work and I don't want to work again, because this is what I really love, my passion, not a job.


-Which cookbooks do you have and which one do you recommend us highly?
I've got a lot of books but my favorites are Cupcakes from Marcela Capó and The Cake Bible. For me having so many books is like having a encyclopedia where you can take advice whenever you have doubts or when you don't know something. And they are my book bedhead books and if I'm not sleepy I can read any of them and begin to imagine stuff for my next course or doing a new recipe.

-What do you prefer cooking, sweet or savory? Why?
Well, I think in my case is clear....SWEET!! I love it, I'm very sweet-thoothed and chocolate is my drug...

-Do you have your favorite recipe posted at your blog? Could you tell us the link so that we can try it?

- For ending, which advice would you give to someone that wants to begin a blog but can't decide to do it?
Writing a blog is having a lot of dedication, time and being regular if you want to get known by people. But is also a therapy, at least for me it is and seeing how people read you, follow you and write comments at your posts is very, very rewarding.
