Terra Gourmet Restaurant

¡Hola a todos!

Hoy estreno otra de las secciones que más me gustan que es la de "Comer en Barcelona". Una vez más quiero recordar que no soy crítica gastronómica y que mis opiniones serán las de una persona de a pie.

El restaurante que voy a comentar hoy se llama Terra Gourmet y está en Cornellà de Llobregat, Barcelona. Está cerca de mi trabajo y aquí fuimos a comer todos juntos el jueves pasado para despedir a una compañera.

Normalmente, cuando salimos a comer de menú gastamos entre 8 y 10 euros, pero Terra Gourmet tenía su menú a 12,95€. En principio pensé "qué caro", pero cuando vi el menú ya no me lo pareció tanto.
Daba la opción de elegir entre muchos primeros y segundos, y los platos tenían nombre, como digo yo, "de plato elaborado".

Cuando llegamos allí se veia un lugar cálido, grande pero acogedor. Nos subieron a una sala en la planta de arriba que parecía pensada para grupos (éramos 23). El camarero en todo momento fue super amable con nosotros y como ya habíamos pedido con antelación lo que queríamos comer, en cuanto todo el mundo estuvo sentado en la mesa empezaron a salir los platos.

La mesa ya estaba provista con el pan y las aguas que habíamos pedido, y me gustó mucho que en cuanto se acababa el pan, te ponían otro cesto con más (en otros lugares te toca un panecillo por menú y ¡cuidado con pedir más!)

No se me ocurrió hacerle una foto al menú para que os hicierais una idea, pero yo pedí lo siguiente:

Primero: Parrillada de verduras con salsa romesco
Segundo: Brochetas de rape y gambas con tomate y cebolla caramelizadas
Postre: Carpaccio de frutas naturales con (nosequé) de naranja

¡Todo estuvo buenísimo! Disfruté realmente de la comida, y el camarero estuvo siempre pendiente de nosotros. Si en algún momento se atrasó la entrega de platos fue porque la gente no recordaba que había pedido, así que tuvimos que sacar el papel donde estaba apuntado ¡ja ja ja! y claro, el camarero salía y decía "pastaaaa" o "la merluzaaa???" y nadie contestaba... parecíamos niños, la verdad es que tuvo mucha paciencia je je je...

Seguramente hay muchos aspectos más a comentar, pero quedé tan encantada con la comida que mi opinión hacia este lugar es la que leéis, ¡buenísima!

Hi everyone!

Today I launch one of the sections I also like a lot and it is "Eating in Barcelona". Once more I would like to remind you that I'm not a food critic and so my opinions are the ones as a standard customer.

The restaurant I'm going to talk about is called Terra Gourmet and is in Cornellà de Llobregat, Barcelona. It is near of my work and we went to have lunch all together last thursday to say goodbye to a colleague.

Normally, when we go out to have lunch we spend between 8 and 10 euros, but Terra Gourmet had the  menu at 12,95€. At the beginning I thought it was expensive but when I saw the dishes I changed my mind. It gave you the option of choosing between a lot of first and second courses and they had, as I say, names of "elaborated plate".

When we arrived there the place seemed a friendly place and it was big. We went upstairs to a room that seemed thought for groups (we were 23). The waiter was very nice at every moment and as we had ordered before arriving, when everybody was seated, dishes started going out.

The table was provided with bread and the water we had already ordered, and I like that when the bread was finished, they gave us more (in other places you only have one bread for menu, and don't ask for more!)

I didn't think about taking pictures to the menu, but I asked for the following:

First course: Grilled vegetables with romesco sauce
Segundo: Skewers of monkfish and shrimps with caramelized onion and tomatoes
Dessert: Carpaccio of natural fruits with some kind of orange juice

Everything was delicious! I really enjoyed the food, and the waiter was very kind with us. If in any moment the delivery of the dishes was slow it was because people didn't remember what they ordered so we had to take out the paper with the notes ha ha ha! Imagine the waiter like "pastaaaa"? "fish"? and nobody was answering. We seemed children so I have to say that the waiter was very patient ha ha ha!

Surely there are more things to talk about but I was so happy with the food that the review to this place is the one you have just read... wonderful!
